Aslı Altınok graduated with honors from the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Istanbul University for her bachelor's degree. She achieved high honors in Clinical Psychology for her master's degree at Altınbaş University, where she received a full scholarship. In her master's thesis titled "A Novel Intervention for Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms Following Earthquakes: The Film Technique," she demonstrated the efficacy of the Film Technique, based on a single-session EMDR intervention restructured by Clinical Psychologist İbrahim Eke, in alleviating post-traumatic stress symptoms among individuals affected by the earthquake that struck Hatay province on February 6, centered in Kahramanmaraş.

She completed her clinical internship at Moodist Psychiatry & Neurology Hospital. In 2022, she was a member of the young team at INDA Solution-Oriented Consultancy and Training Center. Since 2023, she has been actively participating in sessions at INDA Solution-Oriented Consultancy and Training Center. Following the earthquake on February 6, 2023, she engaged in six months of psychological first aid and psychosocial support activities with children, adolescents, and adults in Hatay province.

During her undergraduate studies, she completed training in Play Therapy and Art Therapy under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Gamze Sart. She received training in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy from Prof. Dr. Ebru Şalcıoğlu, and Brief-Solution Focused Therapy from Dr. Nevin Dölek. She also completed advanced training in Intervention Methods in Trauma organized by the Trauma Studies Association, as well as EMDR Level I training provided by the Institute of Behavioral Sciences, and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy training offered by The Milton H. Erickson Institute of Istanbul. She completed the internationally approved Schema Therapy training organized by Prof. Gonca Soygüt Pekak at the Schema Therapy Institute.

She is a founding member of the Association for Psychological First Aid and Psychosocial Support (PAYE) After Natural Disasters and Social Crises. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Trauma Studies Association and a member of the EMDR Association.
